VA-Billboard_Top_Hot_100_Hits_Of_2007-APT (aka
VA-Billboard_Top_Hot_100_Hits_Of_2007-2008-APT)
([External Link Removed for Guests])
--- explanatory note begins ---
This release's track list matches the likes of Wikipedia's "[External Link Removed for Guests]", and corresponds to sibling releases such as:
VA-Billboard_Top_100_Hits_Of_2006-APT
VA-Billboard_Top_100_Hits_Of_2005-APT
...
Confusingly, there additionally exists
VA-Billboard_Top_100_Hits_Of_2007-APT (again with a _2007-2008- aka) ([External Link Removed for Guests])
whose naming pattern (_Top_100_ instead of _Top_Hot_100_) directly follows the sibling releases, but whose contents differ from the Wikipedia listicle, above. According to the nfos, _Top_100_ "is the main year-end chart, Pop 100" - which seems to make little sense, as the "Hot 100" are what would typically be considered the "main" thing, with the "[External Link Removed for Guests]" merely one among many genre-specific selections, and only ever in existence for a few years. Maybe it made more sense at the time, maybe it was simply a mistake.
