On the other hand, about two dozen hits on predb (versus about a hundred on srrdb), half of them dupe-nukes, so at least at some point they were being treated as "a 'recognized' group".

EOSiNT rels are unbanned now!
This is nonsens and a total contradiction. whether INT or not, it remains the same group. either both are scenes or both aren't scenes.
neither EOS nor EOSiNT is p2p, iNT does not mean it is p2p. eg NOiR_iNT releases are also scene, not p2p.
iNT simply means that these releases should not be made public.
EOS(iNT) ist a scene group, that's also in their nfo's.
i still think this ban on non scene releases should be removed from the rules, especially when the EV team isn't too sure what is scene and what isn't. everything else is quite unfair to the people whose inquiries are wrongly deleted for these reasons.

EOS = internal group / efnet irc / not Scene
EOSiNT = same group. All EOS and EOSiNT releases are the same crc32. They just pred some of their releases as iNT because of dupe. EOSiNT is Scene banned.
NOiR = active Scene group
NOiR_iNT = releases are mostly group only and are not pred.
BTW: I like those internal groups like EOS and DNR!
